Quest for Moldova
- one of the most unhappy places of the world

Moldova is a landlocked country
It has been 'gulped' by the Sov Union for almost a century, during which Ukraine and Romania have both occupied. Only independent since 1991.

So in a way I guess I could understand why it's constantly one of the most unhappy places in the whole world.

Moldova
a place which I bet none of you, who read this, would have heard of
Comparatively HK is a world-renowned city...even if some blondes think it's the capital of Japan....Fine, at least you know, heard about HONG KONG
Us in the 90s grew up having the best in the world - learning English and Chinese the two most important languages, gaining worldwide perspective watching Disney films together with Stephen Chow's - all globally recognised.

Now could I justify myself in saying I'm so interested in one of the most unhappy places in the world Moldova?
I really want to see and experience what it's like

Xanga the forbidden place
of course ideas come and go...the one above arrives when I arrives to the minibus stop in Kln Tong.
Time for creativity is always too little...
time for new year resolution has already come and gone...
Optimistically let's see resolution is already in action
when JLee's made herself the 'employable' type with her espresso encounter
alas....how bout a new year wish?
i wish things, around my world, would work out fairly and justly.

Sao Paolo BABY~~~~~~~

weather's perfect
we arrived last night at the hotel by around 10pm
watched two episodes of heroes
then woke up at round 7-ish (Billy 6-ish bor =P)
went for early buffet breakfast
thought it's free and realised it's not so we ate (and also grabbed =P) LOADS
then went up to 27th floor for pool and sauna
the pool's tiny...it's mainly for the view over the city...which is nice
then head out for BRAZILIAN BBQ
t'was fun....you have this 'look look' sign on your table to indicate whether you want more BBQ beef or not...when the waiters stroll around with a loaf of meat XD
then back to hotel...pleaded for late checkout...
turned out we could apply to be MAS members (free =D) and we could check out at four!
so went back to room for a nap...internet...(yeh internet's not bad as you can see)
and then
AND THEN
we sneaked back to 27th floor!
after checking out =P
not sneaking back i guess..it's legal (though we're tempted to sneak back to our room since i left the door open on purpose before checking out)
and here we are...
gonna watch more HEROES =D

Didn't mean to be so laidback..our first time in SAmerica
but we're far away from city centre..and there's not much to see in Guarulhos (cool name isn't it? =D it means eating a lot happily...something along those lines XD)
besides a zoo and loads of museums...

so here we are...back to 27th floor...=)

Flight tonight at 2200 for Bahia...

at that moment I thought it'd be almost impossible if I don't carry on...I paid so much, and hehe, I flew alright the first time and it's cool.
But as you've guessed, it's the last time.

At least in Lasham.

原來第四空間並沒有如想象瞭闊

Friday night
歷史性第一次這麼早撤退公司
因今晚是我們Team gathering
大伙兒五時半起便擁著說去打麻將
最後1900去了main building28樓的bar
然後到皇上皇「飲宴」

2300回到家
看見電視正在播郭富城若干年前的音樂特輯「希臘驚情」
記起小學有段日子曾有不少音樂特輯
小時候勁愛看
取景、音樂、演員陣容
張學友在Perth拍的音樂特輯到現在還somehow瀝瀝在目
也是我這麼想到Perth的原因 (Kaz I'm coming...wait for me!)

但當然世上任何地方也比不上希臘
就算是情意結吧
不過sorry aaron愛希臘絕不是因你的音樂特輯
愛上希臘只不過是因為一本過期月曆
記不清因何有這本calendar
腦裏浮現了大概八至十歲的我站在畢架山住宅裏飯桌旁
翻著月曆
心想這地方不可能存在在世上 , 簡直是天堂
(典型詞彙貧乏、善用誇張手法的小孩)
然後母親告訴我是希臘

然後十數年後我竟會在這「天堂」斷定了人生中其中一個最重要的關口
作了一個決定
明白到在「天堂」定居的朋友原來並不在天堂

為何在十數年後我竟能走進月曆去?

當時唱著那首「扭手愛不完」成名的他現正舉行(他說)他最後的演唱會
機緣巧合下竟有免費門票 , 下周四會去聽
他會否再唱他的成名作呢?
這十數年時間他做了甚麼?

我知我走進了月曆

然後返回現實世界後
再過十數年
我又會在哪裏做甚麼?

在「天堂」退休也不錯 XD

Finally we handed in the reports for HKMA
yet even during the week
when we left at 9
i think i've been out from Tues to Fri night XD
a few incidents occurred - sing k, Calista, gyming, the red rose
what needs to be done would be done
alas on Sat today i just slept all day (amidst running errands)
from 3 til 6
that was NICE
and now it's near half 1 and i'm sleepy again ^^"
but i have to do my presentation =.=

ai...

can't imagine presenting in front of profs in like a month's time
not to mention i've forgotten everything bout my FYP...

Facebook really makes one so lost...completely lost track of time
too many pillows unthrown, plants hven't grown, photos haven't tagged...
is it just me being slow?

Just like the deals they offer you everywhere - mobileshops, fitness clubs...
2 original price plans for two years, for which these could be reduced (cause you're here the first day), which you have to pay the instalments for the first and last two months now, and you have to pay a membership fee, for which we'd reduce for you -
and for god's sake i thought the amount he's deducting is the final amount =.=
And then I thought i won't be a 'water fish' and asked carefully about those last two months instalments (though if you ask me now I probably can't explain clearly...XD)
And after I've finally conceded the manager came to me...saying

'OK, I have a really good plan for you...if this works, you really should treat me to a McD yu lau bau'

Then he started explaining this plan to me which is SO obviously better than the previous plan, from the customer's point of view, as it is much cheaper in long run. Of course California Fitness (oui c'est ca) gains more...
I stared at the guy promoting to me previously, and he actually said -

'I have no idea'

Oh well, anyway, I'm now officially a member of the CF gym. Permanent, worldwide, 'infinity' membership they call it XD
not that I'm regretting, or complaining so much
though indeed, as mum said,

'Why didn't you wait for Billy to go with you?'

Anyway, HAVE TO get fit
for the sake of the money I've paid!

So that's Thursday night, on which I went home near midnight, thanks to CF gym =.=
NB I was there at quarter to nine...................................

Head off to work knackered on Friday

Saturday (aujourd'hui) woke up at eight to head off to DISNEYLAND~~

HSBC ASP Finance department team building exercise
in Cinderella ballroom in the Disney Hotel (A) [It's real pretty~~~ =)]
not too keen to go, but it's a choice between going back to office for OT early or disney...
Opted for Disney half day, then OT...
team building's more fun than I thought...once again proved our team is all crazy ppl
we had to prepare a short presentation about the work our team does...
we decided to do a short play, where me and 3 more girls pretended to be 'data', running through 'the system', to obtain a 'car' (capital adequacy ratio)...with other colleagues pretended to be 'deadlines' and regulators to chase us up...

Crazy indeed

I love them though

Back to office at four
back home at ten

Have to unpack (from UK...seems so far away already though...) and Brazil presentation...
yet here I am...been watching TV and facebooking plus xanga...

CBB = Can't Be Bothered
a VERY IMPORTANT abbreviation...as any explanation would completely defeat its sole purpose of existence
so please, if you're 'one of my gang',
remember the phrase
from now the full name, just like Voldemort, would never be mentioned again

Asian girls 'kawaii ne'

Why is it so that asian girls are so obsessed with the adjective 'kawaii'?
Watched a bit of a TW TV programme tonight and within 3 mins they've said so cute for like 10 times
just to describe a hairstyle...which I thought is actually pretty stylish
but they dismissed it simply with the phrase 'so cute'

which explains why Hello Kitty and Rainy could be such a hit =/

I don't find life cute at all

perhaps that's why they're such a hit

guess in a way it's nice diary could be more relaxing...
though something about it is missing, and I've gotta do something about it...
but when every bit of life's about organising and planning...
perhaps I should just leave xanga as it is

my little protest

job
one of the more experienced colleagues (actually they're all more experienced than me...) asked me tonight whether it's been a month, and how's it been.
let's not recall what i said....altho i guess what i said was pretty truthful (somehow recently i've been in quite a 'interview' mode when dining with my mum's friends...ng hai ho dim )
so how do i feel?
time passes ever so quickly
job's not easy...feel exhausted quite a few times (otherwise tired =P)
a lot to learn, and everybody's more experienced than me
could see there could be a lot interesting things ahead
yet i dunno where I'm going....
yet time's running out

need to sort out finance
stock, fund, air tickets, hotel
new year pocket money, account transfer, credit card

you see i know life's difficult
it's not mundane either
but somehow i just feel strange

by the way batman's coming to HK
filming in Central =D
gonna OT for sure~~~
